Harney County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot verify custody, arrange a release or bond, or obtain official booking records. Contact the government office that holds the particular record.

Harney County Jail information

For an existing Sheriff or jail record, use the written HCSO Public Records Request form. Choose the Jail option when it applies, identify the person and approximate booking details, and request the specific existing record. The form provides the Sheriff’s fee schedule and request procedure. A request for a booking photo remains subject to the separate release review in Oregon law.

  • Current custody: use the official Harney inmate roster, which the county describes as updated once per day, or call the jail if timing matters.
  • Booking record or possible photo: submit a narrow written request to the Sheriff. The county lookup and records page explains the roster’s limits and this request path.
  • Case outcome after booking: start with OJD Records and Calendar Search; the local court has the later disposition, not the jail roster.
  • Justice Court record: contact Harney County Justice Court, 450 N Buena Vista #9, Burns, OR 97720, 541-573-2346, justicecourt@harneycountyor.gov. Its stated hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed noon to 1 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to noon.
  • Oregon prison custody: use the Oregon Offender Search. It covers people sentenced to DOC custody, not every Harney County booking.
  • Status or release notifications: use Oregon VISOR, which covers people in custody or under supervision and offers 24-hour offline-jail help at 855-691-6246.
  • Warrant concern: use the official confirmation path outlined under Most Wanted Fugitives; do not treat a public listing as warrant clearance.
